2.5 Set the Camera Mode

This camera can output different video formats. If you have a digital video recorder, you can even output the AHD or TVI video format to your DVR.

If you happen to change the camera mode from CVBS to another format, you may see the blue screen on the TV with video loss. You can follow the instructions below to set the camera back to CVBS.

1.Firstly Power up the camera and wait for a few seconds.

2.Now find the joystick inline at the pigtail of the cable, make sure the ‘UP’ is facing up.

3.Then push the joystick to right, hold it for 5 seconds then release. The camera mode will be set to CVBS.

If you are using the HDMI encode, you may want to set the camera mode to AHD. Instead, press the reset button to right, you need to push the joystick up, hold it for 5 seconds and release it.
