2.1.1 PoE PLC adpater

The PLC adapter employs existed power line to transmit the network signal. The PLC adapter usually work in pair. The transmitter will sit next to the major router to receive the network signal. The receive could stay any AC outlet within the same power meters, it could be the AC outlet closed to your nest box in this case. The practical performance depends on the existed powerline. If the signal is not good, you can change to another AC outlet.

The PoE PLC adapter has integrated PoE feature to the transmitter. It not only can provide the data but also the power to the PoE IP nest box camera. The PoE injector is not longer needed.

1.Firstly, Plug the Ethernet cable to the PoE power line.

2.Next assemble the waterproof grand. Us the wrench to fasten the grand.

3.Now connect another end to the PoE IP camera.

4.Plug the power cord to AC outlet.

If the indicator is not flashing at the camera’s RJ45 connector, it could be the reason the powerline adapter has not setup the network connection, change to another AC outlet and test it again.

You also can test both transmitter and receiver within the same socket which should create the powerline link.
